Con Pecado Concebida reflexiona sobre la posición social de la mujer en la historia. Es un proyecto de arte colaborativo que invita al publico a participar activamente de la obra desde la práctica gastronómica. Con este propósito interactivo se realizan una serie de esculturas de vírgenes de sal (del tamaño de un salero) y unos encuentros culinarios en los cuales la comida se prepara simple, sin una pizca de sal. La dinámica de la obra se despliega en tanto las personas involucradas deciden transgredir o no las vírgenes para sazonar la comida que se les ofrece.  La sal en muchas culturas fue y es un símbolo de hogar, petrificarla en esta figura es un metasímbolo que recrea la condena de la mujer a ser lo que siempre ha sido, una pieza que critica el valor subordinado que se le ha dado en la historia y que aún pervive en algunos sectores de la sociedad colombiana.

The purpose of Conceived in Sin is to generate reflection about the social position of women in the cultural west. Additionally, it’s a collaborative art project that invites  the public to participate actively  in culinary practices. With this interactive series I create a series of sculptures of the Virgin Mary ( 10 cm)  which are included in a culinary setting where food is prepared simply, clearly without salt. The dynamic in the work is that people decide whether or not to transgress the social boundary of “crumbling-dismantling” the Virgins in order to season the food that is on offer. Salt in many cultures was and is a symbol of the permanence of home and status-quo, petrified within this theme is an all inclusive ideology that portends the condemnation of women to be what they always have been: a housewife. These sculptures criticize the subordinate value that the women have been afforded throughout history and which still thrivesin   sectors of Western society as a result of patriarchal traditions mostly implemented by Catholicism.
